GIS Day

The San Luis Obispo GIS Users Group hosts GIS Day each November. In 2014, GIS Day will be held on:

Wednesday, November 19, 2014
11:00 to 2:00 at the
Downtown San Luis Obispo Public Library
995 Palm Street, San Luis Obispo

This 2014 GIS Day Flyer (6mb PDF) includes time and location information.

GIS Day will showcase maps and other geospatial products created by Cal Poly users, local governments, and private industry. Students, professionals, and interested people will have a chance to talk with representatives from various groups about how a GIS is used, how a GIS can enhance their field of study, and opportunities in the field.

GIS Day is a good opportunity to demonstrate to colleagues, co-workers, and peers which local organizations use GIS, and the ways in which GIS is used to improve and streamline business practices. Anyone is welcome to our GIS Day event.

Some of the GIS Day Exhibitors include:

County of San Luis Obispo City of San Luis Obispo The Wallace Group
