Welcome


The San Luis Obispo GIS Users Group is an informal organization comprised of people interested in GIS activities in San Luis Obispo and northern Santa Barbara counties. Our membership includes individuals from local, state, and federal government, education, non-profits, private organizations, and other interested folks.

Our main goals are to serve as a forum for education and information sharing. We hold three meetings each year (in February, May, and September), plus we organize and host the annual San Luis Obispo GIS Day held in November. Meetings generally have two or three presentations from members or vendors, include plenty of networking time, and are open to all.

If you are interested in receiving information about these or other GIS-related events, contact Andy Richardson and ask to be added to our email list. Note that the list is not shared; you should only receive 3-4 emails per quarter announcing meetings and other items of interest.
